Every year in January, Sojourners joins hundreds of organizations in states and cities nationwide to honor the legacy of Dr. King on the national MLK Day of Service. 

MLK Day 2005 March through downtown McArthur

Sojourners’ MLK Day activities include a community construction service project, a day camp for community children and foster youth, a free community lunch featuring international or American regional cuisine, a march to the courthouse, and a ceremony of reflection.  Several community partnerships make the annual Sojourners MLK Day celebration of service possible.
